How to Verify Your Insurance
To confirm your coverage and minimize surprises, we recommend taking a few simple steps before your appointment:
- Call your insurance provider using the number on your card and ask if Manhattan Gastroenterology is in-network for your plan.
- Contact our office at (646)430-8710—our staff is happy to walk you through the process.
- Bring your insurance card and a valid photo ID to your visit.
What If My Insurance Isn’t Listed?
Don’t worry if your insurance provider isn’t mentioned above. We may still be able to work with your plan, or offer affordable self-pay options. Just give our office a call and we’ll walk you through your choices.
Getting the right care shouldn’t be complicated. If you have questions about insurance, billing, or payment options, our team is here to help every step of the way.
Billing and Payment Information
Your financial responsibility is based on your agreement with your insurance provider, and we’re legally required to collect what your plan dictates.
- Co-pay: The fixed amount listed by your insurer.
- Deductible & Co-insurance: Final amounts depend on claim processing and may not be known upfront
We ask for a credit or debit card on file to charge the exact balance after insurance processes your claim. If you’d prefer, you can make an estimated payment based on pre-service eligibility and benefit verification. You may also contact your insurance company directly to confirm details.
Have an HSA or FSA? If we can’t verify it, we’ll ask for a card or estimated payment.
We accept:
- Cash
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
You’ll receive a refund for any overpayment, or an invoice if there’s a balance due.
At Manhattan Gastroenterology, we work with many providers, offer flexible payment options, and support you at every step — from verifying coverage to navigating costs. Need help verifying your gastroenterology insurance? Contact us today.
